OG Anunoby

If the Memphis Grizzlies were looking for a wing that could provide some star-level talent to the team, there’s one clear target that would make a ton of sense – OG Anunoby. He’s a player that the Grizzlies have been linked to in the past (they reportedly tried to trade for him at the NBA Trade Deadline) and one that fits a lot of what the Grizzlies need on the wing.

And what would make the most sense about acquiring Anunoby is the fact that he’d effectively raise the ceiling for the Grizzlies. He’s a better defender and scorer than Brooks, and would also add that veteran presence that Memphis could be missing in the locker room.

The big question for the Grizzlies is whether they’d be willing to give up what’s going to be necessary to land Anunoby and whether the Toronto Raptors are going to explore his trade market again this offseason. Those are not certainties.
