NBA Trade Rumors: At this stage in his career, Chris Paul may not have much value on the trade market. Though, three teams could make sense.

When the Phoenix Suns acquired Kevin Durant at the NBA Trade Deadline, many assumed that they’d at the very least be playing into late May. However, after losing in the Western Conference semifinals to the top-seeded Denver Nuggets, the Suns enter an offseason with major questions.

The team must figure out how to improve the roster. While that may seem like an easy task with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker under contract for the foreseeable future, it won’t be. Even less so considering how tied up the team is due to the limited salary-cap flexibility it has.

Nevertheless, if the Suns are going to be championship contenders once again next season, they’ll have to retool and reload their supporting cast. That much was evident when they flat-out ran out of gas against the Nuggets.

Anything is on the table for the Phoenix Suns this offseason

According to a recent report, the Suns are expected to explore trading both Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton this offseason. Looking at their roster, if the Suns are indeed serious about improving the roster heading into next season, it’s quite clear that the starting point begins at trading Paul or Ayton, or both.

With a focus on Paul and his potential trade value, we explore three teams that would make sense for him as a landing spot this offseason.
