On the surface, it may be tough to envision how the Miami Heat would be a fit for Chris Paul. But despite their recent success in the playoffs, which has led them all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals, this is still a team that will likely look to make some big changes during the offseason. And one of those big moves that they could make involves trading Kyle Lowry.

If the Heat does trade Lowry, they’re probably going to be in the market for a new point guard. While I’m not entirely sure how interested they’d be in another often-injured lead guard, I don’t think we can completely count out the possibility of the team exploring a deal for Paul. Especially considering how much this team loves the veteran big names.

In order for the Heat and Suns to strike this deal, you’d have to imagine that there would have to be some sort of three-team deal to make it all work. I doubt the Heat and Suns would be interested in a straight-up swap of Lowry for Paul.

Nevertheless, the Heat is a team to keep an eye on when it comes to a potential landing spot for Paul.
