How will the Golden State Warriors rebound this offseason?

The Golden State Warriors‘ season is over. After losing in six games to the 7th-seeded Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference semifinals, there Warriors are about to embark on an offseason will many questions with few clear answers.

So much so that there are many that are wondering if this is the end for this Warriors core.

I won’t go that far, there’s still hope for Golden State to salvage the last few years of Steph Curry’s career. But there are clearly some questions that need to be answered this offseason.

1. Will Bob Myers still be the Golden State Warriors’ GM?

Bob Myers has been with the Golden State Warriors through all their recent success. Since being with the Warriors as an assistant GM in 2011, then full GM in 2012, Myers has drafted Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and won four NBA championships.

While it seems the players on the court are the most important thing, when creating championship culture, having a proper GM is just as important. And Bob Myers has been a huge key to the Golden State dynasty.

With Myers’ contract expiring in July, his re-signing should be at the top of owner Joe Lacob’s list. But his decision is getting down to the wire, and he seems in no rush to commit to anything for the moment. If the Warriors can’t resign Myers they’ll be in a real sticky situation.
