NBA Trade Rumors: In a possible nightmare scenario for the Philadelphia 76ers this offseason, we explore four Joel Embiid trades that they might have to consider. 

If blowing a 3-2 series lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Boston Celtics wasn’t enough, the Philadelphia 76ers will now head into the offseason under the belief that they’re going to lose their second-best player on the roster.

Assuming the recent report is accurate, James Harden is expected to leave Philadelphia when free agency opens to sign a long-term contract with the Houston Rockets. The worst part of all of this is that the Sixers must now figure out how this will impact the best player on their roster, Joel Embiid.

The Sixers are not in a great spot heading into the summer by any means. Not only do they have to figure out how to improve the roster without much flexibility, but the team must now replace Harden’s production. Even with some talent around Embiid already, that task will be easier said than done.
