NBA Trade Rumors: 4 Joel Embiid trades Philadelphia 76ers must consider

It may be strange but it seems that whenever there is a star player available, the Golden State Warriors are going to inquire. Whether they can actually pull off a trade for Embiid remains to be seen but at least on paper, it is doable. Plus, who wouldn’t want to see Embiid playing alongside arguably two of the greatest shooters in NBA history? Nevertheless, as you would expect, a trade for Embiid would be quite costly for the Warriors.

You’d have to assume Andrew Wiggins would have to be involved as the key to a deal. He’s made big strides in his game during his time in Golden State and could be ready for a more primary role elsewhere. You also have to throw in Jordan Poole and Jonathan Kuminga as staples to help hammer down the deal.

The Warriors would also throw in a couple of future first-round picks as icing on the cake. I’m not sure if the Sixers would be interested in such a deal but it could open the door to the Warriors expanding their dynasty.

If the Sixers wanted to send Embiid out West, the Warriors might be one of the best possible landing spots to make this happen.
