Trade assets: 1. Nikola Jokic 2. Jamal Murray 3. Michael Porter Jr.

As the Denver Nuggets continue their road toward an NBA Championship, it’s actually quite impressive to see how this team has been built over the years. No shortcuts, no easy handouts. The Nuggets have had to build from the ground up and it’s paying off dividends with this deep playoff run that they’re in – and it could quite possibly end with an NBA Championship this season.

If the Nuggets were in a place where they had to liquidate all their trade assets, they’d be in a great spot. At the top is arguably the best player in the league, Nikola Jokic. He might end up being the generational of all generational players in the generational era. There isn’t much on the basketball court that he can’t do and winning a ring will surely solidify him as one of the all-time greats.

Beyond Jokic, the Nuggets also have really two great supporting stars in Jamal Murray, who seems to bring his A-game every playoff run, and Michael Porter Jr., who is one of the most underrated scorers of the basketball.

The Nuggets are set up for success for the foreseeable future.
