2023 NBA Finals: Ranking Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat rotation players
14. Duncan Robinson (Miami Heat)
Duncan Robinson has had a bit of a return to old form in the playoffs for Miami. After a down regular season, he has returned to his past level of play in the playoffs. In the playoffs, Robinson is averaging 9.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. He is also shooting 46.9% from the field, 44.6% from 3, and is a perfect 7-of-7 from the line so far in the playoffs.
In the regular season, Robinson averaged 6.4 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists on just 37.1% shooting (32.8% from 3) as he missed a chunk of the regular season due to a finger injury. Robinson was limited to just 42 games on the year.
13. Jeff Green (Denver Nuggets)
One of the longest-tenured players in the Finals, Green continues to carve out a role as a productive rotation player. The 36-year-old is averaging 3.9 points and 1.9 rebounds per game in the playoffs so far. Green has played in all 15 playoff games for Denver, averaging 18.6 minutes per contest. Green has struggled efficiency-wise (37.7% from the field and 26.9% from deep), however, he remains a key fixture off the bench for the Nuggets
In the regular season, Green averaged 7.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. Green shot 48.8% from the field, but struggled from 3 (28.8%). If you remember from earlier when I mentioned Zeller being the highest-drafted rotation player in the series, Green is the highest-drafted rotation player for Denver (5th overall in 2007).
