Could we see a reunion for Chris Paul and the LA Clippers? It’s actually not that outlandish of an idea, even more so considering that the Clippers are a team that was in the market for a point guard at last year’s NBA Trade Deadline. They settled for Eric Gordon and Bones Hyland, but there’s no question that adding Paul to their backcourt would certainly be an upgrade for the team.

If there would be one concern, it would be durability. But the Clippers could just throw Paul in one of their load management programs and roll the dice on his availability late in the season. And hopefully, they finally luck into a fully healthy season for Kawhi Leonard and Paul George – something the Clippers haven’t had thus far.

Paul back in LA would be quite the story. Even though many assume that if he were to make a return to LA, it would be to another team, the Clippers are a contender that makes sense on some level.
