The 2023 NBA Draft is officially less than two weeks away. The NBA Finals will soon be wrapped up and the official start of the NBA offseason (via the draft) will be here and take centerstage. And the NBA Draft should provide quite the opening act for what is expected to be quite a chaotic offseason.

As it pertains to the NBA Draft, we know what’s happening at the top. After the NBA Draft Lottery, we know that the San Antonio Spurs are going to draft Victor Wembanyama. Barring some

unforeseen circumstances, Wemby is going to the Spurs and he’s going to be the No. 1 overall pick. After that, though, there is much that needs to be determined.

The next two weeks could be filled with NBA Draft smokescreens

That opens the door for the NBA Draft rumor mill to go crazy – for both reports that are full of substance and/or smokescreens as teams try to position themselves to manipulate specific draft results.
