Kristaps Porzingis

As a potential unrestricted free agent, Kristaps Porzingis is a player that no one seems to be talking about less than a month away from the start of free agency.

Sure, there’s no guarantee that he’s going to decline his $36 million player option for next season but if he does there could be an interesting market for him. I’m not sure if there are going to be the big-money free-agent offers that he’s going to be in the market for, but there could be some interesting sign-and-trade possibilities. And perhaps one with the Miami Heat.

There would surely be concerns about his ability to remain healthy, but he’d be a great fit next to Bam Adebayo. Considering his offensive skill set, he would have the ability to add another level to the Heat offense.

The Heat would’ve been an entirely different team this season with a healthy Kristaps on the roster. If there’s an avenue for that this summer, the Heat would be wise to pursue it.
