If Bradley Beal is a player that finds his way to the trade block, he could very well emerge as a secondary option for the Miami Heat. Beal is a player that the Heat have desired in the past but the Washington Wizards have been reluctant to move on from him. However, if the Wizards are ready to rebuild, it would be far from surprising for the Heat to check back in on Beal. He may not be the player he was a few seasons ago when his trade value was at a high, but he’s still an intriguing player from the Heat’s perspective.

Beal would be a great supporting star next to Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. And perhaps most importantly, he has a skill set that could afford him to take a lead role for the team when Jimmy misses time or when he’s no longer at the top of his game.

The Heat has three future first-round picks to play with this offseason and the contracts of Tyler Herro and Kyle Lowry. It remains to be seen if that would be enough land Beal but if it is, there’s no question he could be viewed as the final piece for the team.
