NBA Trade Rumors: 12 Surprise big names that could be moved on draft night
Bobby Portis, Milwaukee Bucks
Through and through, the Milwaukee Bucks are coming off a disappointing season. After the team had built some momentum through the second half of the season, the hope was that the Bucks would make a deep run in the postseason as a favorite in the Eastern Conference. That didn’t exactly happen and the team’s season came to a crashing end at the hands of the Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs.
Heading into the offseason, the Bucks almost have to make some adjustments if they’re going to try to improve the supporting cast around Jrue Holiday, (presumably) Khris Middleton, and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Because of their lack of overall flexibility heading into the offseason, one way that the Bucks could attempt to reshuffle the roster is through a Bobby Portis trade.
He’s coming off another effective season in which he averaged 14 points and 10 rebounds on 50 percent shooting from the field and 37 percent shooting from 3-point range. He’s been a key cog for the Bucks each of the last two seasons but if they want to shake up the roster somehow, it’s hard to envision how they do that without trading Portis.
