NBA Trade Rumors: 12 Surprise big names that could be moved on draft night

Since he entered the league, nothing has seemed to work out for Jonathan Isaac. His fit with the Orlando Magic has been wonky since his first day with the team and the recent injuries that he’s had to battle haven’t done him any favors. However, at just 25 years old and with the Magic pivoting away from their previous build, this may be the perfect time for Isaac to get his fresh start outside of Orlando.

Of course, the problem with that is the fact that he hasn’t played a ton recently. He only played in 11 games this season and hadn’t played in a game before this season since the 2019-20 season. That’s going to make it difficult in trade talks if that’s something the Magic end up pursuing.

His contract will likely also make things a bit difficult in trade discussions. Isaac is due $17.4 million in each of the next two seasons. It’s not a terrible investment but it will be a tough sell. Especially if Orlando is looking to get anything of significance in exchange for Isaac.

Either way, Isaac should be a trade candidate on everyone’s radar heading into the NBA Draft.
