15. Leonard Miller, Wing, G-League Ignite

Leonard Miller is a tall, skinny forward who was extremely productive and efficient in the G-League as a 19-year-old. He is an athletic wing who runs the floor well, can finish at the rim at a high level, and provides value as a weakside rim protector.

I’m not sure how good Leonard can be because he isn’t a great passer, and his three-point shooting is sub-par right now. However, he has some valuable skills, and it’s hard to overlook his production and efficiency at such a young age. Leonard Miller is obviously a talented basketball player, and I hope he makes me look silly for ranking him this low.

16. Marcus Sasser, Guard, Houston

Marcus Sasser is a fantastic all-around point guard who can score at all three levels, projects to be a great three-point shooter, and has a ton of upside as a defender. He’s also a solid passer who is a great decision-maker with the ball in his hands. These are some incredible strengths to see in a prospect.

To make things even better, there are not many issues with Sasser’s profile. His age may bother some people, but I think his limited athleticism and non-elite passing are more important and limit his ceiling just a bit. Still, he is a great player who appears to be a good bet to succeed at the next level.

The reason I have him ranked this low is that it is hard for small guards to generate a ton of value without being offensive engines like Trae Young. That’s a big reason why teams prioritize adding wings to their roster so much. Hopefully, Marcus Sasser can be the outlier and becomes a high-level starter.
