NBA Trade Rumors: Explore five ambitious Tyler Herro trade ideas that could help the Miami Heat get out from under his contract.

Missing out on Bradley Beal, or passing on him, depending on who you’re willing to believe, the next couple of weeks will be increasingly important for the Miami Heat and the future of their franchise.

For two of the last four years, the Heat has been on the cusp of winning an NBA Championship. With Father Time bearing down on Jimmy Butler, Miami doesn’t have much time to complete the job of building a contender around him. The Heat feels as if they’re one star away from breaking through. At the same time, there’s no guarantee they’ll be able to land that star.

If a move for a star doesn’t materialize over the next couple of weeks, there’s a feeling around the league according to a recent report that the Heat could pivot to trading Tyler Herro – getting out from under the contract before his huge extension hits (which is this upcoming season).

Trading Tyler Herro could be difficult for the Miami Heat

However, that could be easier said than done. Using the Jordan Poole trade as a reference point, the Heat would have to get creative (and potentially a bit lucky) to pull off the objective of trading Herro.

If Miami wanted to explore that option, however, there are a few ambitious scenarios this offseason in which they could trade Herro. Let’s explore five of them.
