23. Caris LeVert (unrestricted)

The Cleveland Cavaliers weren’t ready for what awaited them in the NBA Playoffs. In fact, even Jarrett Allen admitted that. Heading into the offseason, this team, which is incredibly talented, will be in search of players that could add an element of mental toughness and experience.

The Cavs don’t necessarily need to make a big move but they do need to find the right veterans that will help this team take a tangible step forward. The Cavs are in good hands with Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley. The right supporting cast could be the difference in this team being a first-round playoff exit vs. making a deep run.

One player they have to make a free-agent decision on is Caris LeVert.

Even though it would seem as if it may be in the best interest of the Cavs to move on from LeVert, I find it hard to believe that he would simply walk in free agency. Plus, there aren’t any great fits for him among the teams with defined cap space. That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Cavs decided to re-sign LeVert and then turn around to move in either at the NBA Trade Deadline or next offseason.

That feels like how this all ends for LeVert in Cleveland.

Prediction: Cleveland Cavaliers
