James Harden is still a high-level impact player in the NBA, therefore one team in the Association is about to get an upgrade at the guard position.

Dating back to sometime around the midway point during the 2022-23 NBA season, scuttle began that James Harden and the Houston Rockets could be interested in a reunion. However, after the Rockets signed Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks in free agency, that seems highly unlikely at the moment.

Even though Harden is unlikely to find his way back on the Rockets, it’s looking more and more likely that his tenure in Philadelphia is coming to an end. Just before the start of free agency, it was reported that Harden would opt into the final year of his contract with the Sixers and that the two sides would work together to find a trade.

Where will James Harden be traded?

Assuming that the Rockets’ boat has sailed for Harden, it’s a good time to explore three other fun potential trade destinations for him under the assumption that he will move on from the Sixers at some point this offseason.
