I don’t I’ve heard a single person suggest the Orlando Magic as a possible landing spot for James Harden. However, you’d have to imagine that it would be fun to see the former NBA MVP join the cast of young talent that the Magic have put together. Harden could be the veteran glue that this young team needs to take another step forward in their progression as a franchise. As their young players continue to develop, Harden could offer great veteran leadership while also being a dynamic scorer and playmaker.

Orlando made huge strides as a franchise this past season, highlighted by Paolo Banchero winning the NBA’s Rookie of the Year award. After adding two more lottery picks in the 2023 NBA Draft, this is a team that could be a veteran star away from making waves in the Eastern Conference.

At least in one scenario, Harden could be that veteran star. It may not end up happening, but Harden on the Magic would be pretty fun and exciting to see.
