Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks are probably the obvious potential landing spot. They’re a team that has been connected to him before and one that could use a replacement at the power forward position now that they have moved on from John Collins. Plus, let’s not forget; this was a team that was expected to make some big changes during the offseason. At least thus far, the only change that they’ve made is trading Collins. You can’t help but believe that one reason why is the anticipation of another move.

The Hawks don’t have a ton of draft capital that they can move but one thing that they do have is an array of young players that could be viewed as enticing from the Hawks’ point of view. Theoretically (not saying that they would do it, but if they wanted they could), the Hawks could build a package centered around Onyeka Okongwu, Dejounte Murray, DeAndre Hunter, and/or Saddiq Bey.

I’m not sure if that would be enough for the Raptors to come around to the idea of trading Siakam but it’s certainly an interesting offer that the Hawks could muster up.

Over the next few days or weeks, Siakam is a name to watch on the trade block. It seems like there’s a very real chance he begins next season on another team.
