3. Jordan Poole, Golden State Warriors

The best thing that could happen for Jordan Poole may have just happened. Despite coming off a big payday in Golden State, getting out of there could be a blessing for Poole. The new Washington Wizard will take over a rebuilding squad led by himself, Kyle Kuzma, and Tyus Jones.

One noticeable thing about Poole’s game is that when he has the ball in his hands for extended periods, he puts up good numbers. He scored the ball at a pretty high rate when he started for the Warriors, and it is no secret that they have good players and scorers.

Poole averaged 20 a game for the Warriors last season, but with the opportunity in front of him mixed with his will to score the basketball could put Poole around or north of 24-25 points per game. Some could argue Kuzma or Jones will be the one to take the “leap” for Washington, but it will most likely be Jordan Poole.

In my opinion, Poole is a great scorer that is very smooth with basketball. He makes moves that put him in very great positions to score the basketball, and then it’s just all on him to make the shot after that. Having the ball in his hands is only going to grow that part of his game even more. Poole needs to work on a few other areas of the game before I can picture the Wizards making noise in the East.

Not just Poole, but more would need to be seen from everyone on that roster before I am ready to label them as a good team in the NBA. All in all, it is fair to assume Jordan Poole is in store for some big averages in Washington.
