Zach LaVine will be shopped as well; a deal may not materialize until the trade deadline

It’s already been reported that the Chicago Bulls have gauged the trade market for Zach LaVine but up until now, it doesn’t seem that they’ve been all that willing to move the talented guard. I believe and predict that will slowly begin to change over the next few weeks and there will be even more rumblings that suggest the Bulls are shopping LaVine on the open market. It will begin during the offseason but I could see this dragging up until the NBA Trade Deadline.

I guess another prediction that could go hand in hand with this one is that I believe the Bulls will pivot toward a rebuild. With the Lonzo Ball, DeMar DeRozan, and LaVine experiment pretty much over, this is a good time for Chicago to hit a soft reset. They won’t blow up their entire roster, but I have a hard time believing that all these three players (Ball, DeRozan, and LaVine) will still be on the team by the end of the 2023-24 season.

And it will likely all begin with the Bulls trading LaVine at some point over the next few months. The tea leaves will begin to all into place over the next few weeks, however.
