New York Knicks

As somewhat of a dark horse for Tyler Herro, I can make the argument that the New York Nicks would be an intriguing landing spot. The Knicks took a big step forward last season and will be looking to do the same again this year. However, if there’s one issue the team ran into during the postseason a year ago, it was their lack of a secondary scorer next to Jalen Brunson. Julius Randle, RJ Barrett, and Quentin Grimes proved to be too inconsistent on the offensive end of the floor in the playoffs when it mattered most.

That’s where a potential move for Herro could come in handy for the Knicks. Herro could be that consistent offensive threat next to Brunson and could help this team emerge as a real threat in the Eastern Conference.

We know the Knicks have the necessary assets to get a deal done and they could make such a move while also maintaining flexibility to make another big move for another star in the future.

The Knicks aren’t a natural suitor for Herro but it does make some sense to at least have a conversation about the possibility.
