3 Reasons why Golden State Warriors can win NBA Title in 2024, 3 why they can’t

Lack of roster depth
The Golden State Warriors have a lot of talent, but they do have a lack of roster depth for the upcoming season. They traded away Jordan Poole for a 38-year-old Chris Paul. They also lost Donte DiVincenzo in free agency.
Their bench now consists of Gary Payton II, Moses Moody, Jonathan Kuminga, and Dario Sarić. These are all young players who are still developing, apart from Sarić. They are talented, but they do not have the same experience and playoff savvy as the Warriors’ starters.
This lack of depth could hurt the Warriors in the playoffs. If one of their starters is to get injured, they will not have a lot of reliable players to replace them. They could also struggle to keep up with the other playoff teams, who have more depth.
The Warriors have two options ahead of them: Trade for some veteran players or develop their young talent. With this in mind, the Warriors are more likely to start the season with the current roster and make changes, if necessary, before the February trade deadline.
Should the Warriors overcome these challenges, they might be a legit contender for the NBA championship in the upcoming season. However, it will not be easy. The Western Conference is very competitive, and the Warriors will need to play their best basketball if they want to win it all.
