28. Alex Caruso, Chicago Bulls

More of a natural shooting guard than a point guard, Alex Caruso is listed to be the starting point guard for the Chicago Bulls. Whether that ends up changing once training camp comes and goes remains to be seen. At least for now, Caruso is expected to be the starting lead guard. And that may not be a bad thing for the Bulls. Looking at the stat sheet, Caruso is not a player that jumps off the paper. However, he’s a player who impacts the game at a much deeper level.

Caruso has never been a full-time starter in the league even at his highest moments in the NBA, and that’s part of the reason why I have him as the No. 28th ranked point guard in the league. He has yet to prove that he can be a consistent starter in the league. Maybe he will prove me wrong this year?

Caruso is a player who does all the dirty work and answers the call from the head coach time and time again, no matter the command. That’s an invaluable asset that every team would love to have in the lead guard position.
