Washington Wizards – Kyle Kuzma
After years of procrastinating, it appears that the Washington Wizards have finally committed to tanking and resetting their core. Having dealt away Bradley Beal, there are only a few desirable veterans left on the roster — chief among them being Kyle Kuzma.
A two-way presence with size, Kuzma would be an excellent addition for any team looking to upgrade along their wings.
Denver Nuggets – Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Of all the teams in the league, the reigning champion Denver Nuggets are the least likely to make a trade next season. Not only do they have a roster that’s already proven to be a title-worthy contender, but they also don’t have many trade chips to offer.
If it came down to brass tacks, the most likely candidate to be moved on the Nuggets is Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. He’s on a friendly contract, isn’t crucial to the team’s core, has a valuable skillset that is highly sought after, and has replacements for his services already lined up in Denver in Christian Braun, Peyton Watson, and Julian Strawther.
