8. Zach LaVine, Chicago Bulls

Because of the lack of winning, Zach LaVine is one of the polarizing top-tier shooting guards in the NBA. I believe that he’s one of the most underrated two-way players in arguably the deepest position group that the NBA has to offer. The fact that the Chicago Bulls have struggled to maintain any consistent level of winning over the last few years has hurt, but LaVine has been pretty good for the team since he was acquired from the Minnesota Timberwolves over five years ago.

This past season, LaVine averaged 25 points, five rebounds, and four assists on 49 percent shooting from the field. The underwhelming supporting cast that Chicago has surrounded him with has undoubtedly impacted the way he’s viewed around the league. It’ll be interesting to see the path the Bulls elect to take with LaVine over the next couple of seasons. If Chicago does elect to retool or hit the rebuild button, we could get a clearer picture of how the rest of the league views LaVine.

He may not be a superstar at this point in his career but he’s easily one of the 10-best shooting guards in the NBA heading into the 2023-24 season.
