Trade offer No. 2: A mix of young players and draft picks

This second offer creates a nice mix of young players and draft capital for the Milwaukee Bucks. The New York Knicks would get the Antetokounmpo brothers in exchange for a salary filler (Evan Fournier) and three of New York’s intriguing young pieces – Immanuel Quickley, Quentin Grimes, and Mitchell Robinson. New York would also throw in four future first-round picks in order to add some icing on the offer.

Whether or not that would be enough remains to be seen. But it’s a strong second offer from the Knicks. The Bucks would get a strong core of young players that they can either build around or use in other trades to get more draft capital and while the Knicks would be gutting their farm system, they would still have a solid core of players and a good enough supporting cast to compete for a title with Giannis.

While this is a strong offer, especially compared to what other interested teams could offer, I’d lean toward the Bucks asking for a bit more. If negotiations were to take place, I’d imagine that the Bucks would start by asking for one of New York’s other young pieces.
