Losing Bruce Brown is likely going to hurt the Denver Nuggets more than they realize. They added a couple of interesting rookies that could eventually grow into that role, but it would be foolish to expect them to make much of an impact this season. One way the Nuggets could pivot to fill the void left by Brown off the bench is to sign a veteran wing player such as Reggie Bullock. He’d be a solid backup option behind Michael Porter Jr., and could even help take some of the pressure off of Christian Braun heading into this year.

Bullock is a player who could come in and play a defined role from the opening jump. He’s experienced and one of the better 3-point shooters in the league. Playing next to Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic should give him some of the most open looks he’s ever gotten playing in the NBA.

Bullock wouldn’t completely replace Brown, but he’d be a good option that the Nuggets should take a look at. If all else fails, Denver could elect to look to the buyout market later in the season to take another jab.
