Pascal Siakam, Toronto Raptors

Another potential bold move that the New York Knicks could make is one for Pascal Siakam. If the Toronto Raptors do end up trading one of their two big stars in-season, I’d lean toward Siakam being the the player that ends up on the move over OG Anunoby. Siakam is entering the final year of his contract with the Raptors and there has been little-to-no traction on a potential extension.

If the Raptors are finally ready to pivot toward a youth movement, it would make sense for Toronto to get whatever they can for Siakam before he hits the open free agency market. After Toronto lost Fred VanVleet for nothing this past offseason, they can’t afford to make that same mistake this summer with Siakam. That’s where a team like the Knicks could emerge.

New York would be a great spot for Siakam and he’d be an intriguing supporting star next to Jalen Brunson.
