Portland Trail Blazers

Trade candidate: Malcolm Brogdon

Malcolm Brogdon along with Robert Williams III were shipped to Portland from Boston in the Jrue Holiday trade. Brogdon currently adds a veteran presence to a young Trail Blazers squad who have promising young guards such as Scoot Henderson, Anfernee Simons, and Shaedon Sharpe.

Brogdon will be able to provide leadership for each of them but depending on how their season pans out, Brogdon could be the one being traded for draft capital to a contender lacking in guard play.

Sacramento Kings

Trade candidate: Davion Mitchell

Davion Mitchell was drafted 9th overall by the Sacramento Kings back in 2021 and has shown he can be one of the top guard defenders in the league. He is entering his 3rd NBA season on a deep Kings team. They seem to have a set core in mind with De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis, and Keegan Murray.

Mitchell seemed to be out of the mix last year due to his lack of shooting but saw some run during the Warriors series guarding Steph Curry. With him still being on his rookie deal there could be value out there for him on the trade market due to his abilities on defense.
