Houston Rockets

Trade candidate: Jae’sean Tate

Jae’sean Tate is in an awkward spot in the Houston Rockets’ rotation heading into the start of the season. The team just recently drafted Amen Thompson and Cam Whitmore as well as adding another wing, Dillon Brooks, in free agency.

Tate will struggle to find a consistent role thus making him a viable trade candidate to a contender looking to add a versatile and athletic wing on a cheap contract.

Indiana Pacers

Trade candidate: Buddy Hield

Buddy Hield is currently in the last year of his contract and is owed around $19 million. It seems that they want to move on from the sharpshooter to make space for newly acquired free agent, Bruce Brown, as well as clear up minutes for second-year guard Bennedict Mathurin.

Both Hield and the Indiana Pacers seem motivated to find him a new home with plenty of teams showing potential interest in him already. Heild’s time in Indiana will be over sooner rather than later.
