Jordan Clarkson, Utah Jazz

If the Philadelphia 76ers were looking for strictly an answer on the offensive end of the floor, it would be smart of them to monitor the situation that could unfold between Jordan Clarkson and the Utah Jazz. I thought it was odd when Clarkson re-signed with the Jazz in free agency this summer and believed that he would explore other offers. I was pretty wrong on that front but I’m not completely sold that he’s going to finish out his contract in Utah.

For a team that is still in the early stages of a rebuild, it’d probably be in the best interest of the team to trade away some of their veteran assets; Clarkson being one of them. If Keyonte George is the player that the Jazz believes he can be, it’s only going to be a matter of time before they want more minutes for him. In that event, trading Clarkson would be on the table.

If so, the Sixers should jump into that sweepstakes. At least from an offensive perspective, there’s a lot of good that Clarkson could offer a contender like the Sixers.
