As somewhat of a pipe dream target, if the Philadelphia 76ers can get into the OG Anunoby market, they’d emerge as huge winners heading into the push toward the playoffs. However, that could prove to be difficult to pull off no matter how clear it may be that the Toronto Raptors should probably move on from him. Even though Anunoby isn’t exactly a guard, he could work as one as a difference-maker small forward.

Especially considering that it’s been long reported that Anunoby wants to find a bigger offensive role on his next team (if there ends up being a next team). With James Harden on the move, the Sixers could be the perfect opportunity for Anunoby to find a bigger offensive role. And playing next to Joel Embiid, it could end up working quite magically.

The big question is whether the Sixers would be able to afford making a move for Anunoby and that largely depends on what the return ends up being for Harden. They’d likely need a few first-round picks to work with and may need to include Tyrese Maxey in an offer. Should the Sixers do that?
