Damian Lillard, Milwaukee Bucks

Damian Lillard finally demanded a trade away from the Portland Trail Blazers. Many called for him to do this move years ago but he remained loyal to the Blazers. However, over the last few months, it became abundantly clear that the Blazers were not going to be able to surround Lillard with a championship-worthy supporting cast. That’s when Lillard finally decided to ask for out. He wanted to be traded to the Miami Heat but he was ultimately sent to the Milwaukee Bucks.

You can actually make the argument that the Bucks are a better spot for him to win a championship than the Heat. Lillard has the best supporting cast with the Bucks that he’s ever had and he’s essentially joining a championship roster.

Lillard is viewed as a final piece to a championship roster and if the Bucks don’t make at least the NBA Finals, this season is going to be viewed as somewhat of a disappointment.

If Lillard can win a championship, he’ll solidify himself as one of the best point guards to ever bounce a basketball.
