The Houston Rockets will make the playoffs or Play-In Tournament

There are many that aren’t in love with the two big moves that the Houston Rockets made this summer. They’re essentially trying to cheat their rebuilding process and skip a few steps. It remains to be seen if it will all work out. However, in my mind, the success or failure of the Rockets doesn’t hinge on Fred VanVleet or Dillon Brooks. I believe that if the Rockets are going to be successful, it’s going to be because of the continued development of Alperen Sengun and Jalen Green.

I believe both are in for big seasons and that will lead to the Rockets making a significant move up the Western Conference standings. So much so that I predict the Rockets will make the Play-In Tournament in the West. At the very least, they’re going to have a chance to win their way into the postseason.

I believe in both Green and Sengun. I believe both have All-Star potential and we’re going to continue to see that from them this season. The additions of VanVleet and Brooks are going to help both of their development, whether the naysayers are willing to admit it or not.

The Rockets are going to be one of the surprise teams in the NBA this season.
