The Golden State Warriors and their dynasty

The Golden State Warriors fell unceremoniously in the Western Conference semifinals last season at the hands of the upstart Los Angeles Lakers. In what was supposed to be a strong title defense season, the Warriors were more flop than champions last season. They were extremely inconsistent all regular season long and that very much carried over into the playoffs. In the end, the team’s inconsistency finally caught up with them.

After trading Jordan Poole, re-signing Draymond Green, and trading for Chris Paul, it’s clear that the Warriors believe the dynasty is very much still in place. The question is, will this in fact prove to be the case? The Warriors will need to prove that their core is still good enough to win a championship.

Bouncing back from last season may not be as simple. The Western Conference is as deep as it’s been in quite a while and I’m not even sure if the Suns are unanimously considered a top 3 team heading into the start of the season.
