What are the biggest questions that will dominate the NBA’s opening week?

With the start of the 2023-24 NBA regular season upon us, there are natural questions that are going to begin to be answered. Many of these questions are going to drive the first few talking points of the new season.

As we get into the on-court play, let’s explore a few of the biggest questions that dominate the early-season headlines.

5 Burning questions for the NBA’s opening week

How will the Golden State Warriors look out of the gate?

Putting it nicely, the Golden State Warriors were one of the most inconsistent “contenders” during the regular season last year. They found a way to avoid the Play-In Tournament and upset the Sacramento Kings in the first round of the playoffs. However, their inconsistency caught up with them in the conference semifinals when they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers.

After a polarizing offseason, in which they traded away Jordan Poole, re-signed Draymond Green, and acquired Chris Paul, the Warriors are heading into the 2023-24 NBA season in hopes of reigniting some of their previous magic.

But that could be easier said than done. Last season, through the first 10 games of the season, the Warriors were 3-7. That kind of put a damper on their entire season. Can they avoid another bad start and set a good tone to start this season?
