San Antonio Spurs
Starting Lineup
- Tre Jones
- Devin Vassell
- Keldon Johnson
- Victor Wembanyama
- Zach Collins
Key Bench Players
- Devonte Graham
- Malaki Branham
- Blake Wesley
- Jeremy Sochan
- Julian Champagnie
Season Overview: All eyes will be on Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs to start the year and rightfully so as he has shined in the preseason. They certainly don’t have high hopes for this season in particular, but they are expecting the top pick in the draft to become one of the best players this game has ever seen.
We have simply never seen somebody his size have such a wide array of skills – he can block a shot from virtually anywhere on the court and can go to the other end, cross you up, and knock down a three. Keldon Johnson is also a stud that will probably get lost in the Victor hype, but I’d expect a pretty big season from him. The Spurs will show some life, but they will also be back in the lottery.
Oklahoma City Thunder
Starting Lineup
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
- Josh Giddey
- Luguentz Dort
- Jalen Williams
- Chet Holmgren
Key Bench Players
- Cason Wallace
- Jaylin Williams
Season Overview: One of the more fun teams to cheer for and watch, the Oklahoma City Thunder should be back in the mix with the return of Chet Holmgren. Their lineup offers a lot of versatility – they can score from anywhere and light it up, but they can also lock in and defend.
Lu Dort is an elite defender and Chet should show the world why he was drafted in the first place with his shot-blocking ability. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is becoming one of the stars in this league, and if all goes well, the Thunder should be fighting for another playoff berth.
