Chicago Bulls

Starting Lineup

  • Alex Caruso
  • Zach LaVine
  • DeMar DeRozan
  • Patrick Williams
  • Nikola Vucevic

Key Bench Players

  • Coby White
  • Andre Drummond

Season overview: The Lonzo Ball saga continues to be one of the sadder stories in the NBA as he and the Bulls continue to essentially be in limbo. I see this team being in a similar situation to last – a fringe playoff team that maybe finally trades their stars in order to begin a new rebuilding phase.

Cleveland Cavaliers

Starting Lineup

  • Darius Garland
  • Donovan Mitchell
  • Max Strus
  • Evan Mobley
  • Jarrett Allen

Key Bench Players

  • Ricky Rubio
  • Caris Levert

Season overview: Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell will again be one of the better backcourts in the NBA, and the addition of Max Strus will hopefully give them a more consistent threat from deep than they’ve had in the last few years.

One of the most apparent issues they had last year that was exposed by the Knicks was their ability to rebound the basketball – if Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley can fix those problems then this team can be a problem in the East.
