Washington Wizards

Starting Lineup

  • Tyus Jones
  • Jordan Poole
  • Corey Kispert
  • Kyle Kuzma
  • Daniel Gafford

Key Bench Players

  • Landry Shamet
  • Delon Wright

Season Overview: This is going to be one of the most fun teams to watch in recent memory. Not only are they going to shoot from everywhere and anywhere, but they also aren’t going to play a shred of defense. I am close to convincing myself that they won’t even cross half-court to play defense as the entire starting lineup views it as wasted energy.

Jordan Poole, Corey Kispert, and Kyle Kuzma are going to make teams look silly at times. They are also going to lose by 40 at times. The Wizards are one of the worst teams in the league, but their games will be exciting at times, especially when they get hot.

Toronto Raptors

Starting Lineup

  • Dennis Schroder
  • OG Anunoby
  • Scottie Barnes
  • Pascal Siakim
  • Jakob Poetl

Key Bench Players

  • Gary Trent Jr
  • Grady Dick
  • Precious Achiuwa

Season Overview: Fred VanVleet’s departing was originally a cause for concern, but his recent struggles with the team coupled with the arrival of the FIBA MVP and gold medal winner Dennis Schroder could be a blessing in disguise.

The Toronto Raptors still have some identity issues they need to figure out, but the size and talent of OG Anunoby, Scottie Barnes, and Pascal Siakim can carry this team to a high finish within the East. The departure of Nick Nurse might be a breath of fresh air for the starters since they would presumably not have to log such heavy minutes moving forward.
