Memphis Grizzlies

Heading into the start of the season, one of the keys for the Memphis Grizzlies revolved around staying afloat in the Western Conference standings without Ja Morant – who is suspended for the first 25 games of the season. So far, the Grizzlies have not passed the test of surviving without Morant. The Grizzlies are 0-4 and have one really bad loss against the Washington Wizards already on their resume.

Desmond Bane has been great for the Grizzlies to start the year but it’s clear that the injuries to Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke, and Luke Kennard, and the suspension of Morant are catching up with the team. If the Grizzlies are going to survive in the West without Morant, they’re going to have to figure out how to turn things around quickly. Last season, the Grizzlies got off to a 7-3 start.

I’m sure the Grizzlies will be fine and will work things out, but something does feel a bit off around the vibes with this team.
