Zach LaVine, Chicago Bulls
The Chicago Bulls have once again left much to be desired through the first couple of weeks of the regular season. With as much talent as they have on their roster, the Bulls should be better than a middling team in the Eastern Conference. However, the Bulls have yet to be able to hit their stride as a team.
Objectively, there’s a strong case to be made that the Bulls should probably move off Zach LaVine. Without Lonzo Ball, this core has not proven that they can be competitive in the Eastern Conference. And considering Ball is nowhere near returning to the floor, the Bulls should strongly consider blowing up their roster and hitting the reset button.
Quite frankly, I’m not sure that’s what they’re going to end up doing. If I had to guess, I’d lean toward the Bulls riding out this season and figuring out what the next steps will be during the offseason. However, if the Bulls wait until the offseason, they could miss the opportunity to fully capitalize on getting a full return on their assets.
