15. Minnesota Timberwolves

In what could be described as a surprise to no one, the Minnesota Timberwolves, once again, look pretty average. And the one big reason why could be tallied to the fact that Karl-Anthony Towns hasn’t played all that particularly well. So far this season, he’s shooting well below his career averages from both the field and 3-point range. If that doesn’t change quickly, it’s hard to imagine how the Wolves are going to be a consistent threat to make the playoffs this season.

Unless, of course, Anthony Edwards continues to emerge as a season-saving talent and leader that he’s already shown flashes of being. Even though it’s hard to fall in love with the Wolves, they are one of the most talented teams on paper. They may not mesh as well as some other teams in the West do, but they’re certainly a team that should be on the playoff radar.

The Wolves are one of those teams that’s always going to feel like they should be winning more than they actually are, and that’s far from a good thing.
