5. Milwaukee Bucks

Through the first five games of the season, there’s been a learning curve for the Milwaukee Bucks. Making such a change to the roster, swapping Damian Lillard for Jrue Holiday, will do that. The Bucks have had to make an adjustment with how they play offensively but also on the defensive end of the floor. The Bucks have certainly struggled a bit more than many anticipated on the offensive end of the floor and have been absolutely putrid defensively.

The Bucks have one of the five worst defenses in the NBA at the moment. Considering they have two of the best defenders in the NBA in Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez, that’s far from an ideal scenario. Add in the fact that they’ve also run into a bit of trouble meshing offensively, and it’s easy to see why the Bucks have gotten off to a 3-2 start this season.

In the long run, the Bucks should be fine. They have too much talent not to be. However, I’m not sure if a deep playoff run is as much of a guarantee as many believed it would be before the start of the season.
