28. Charlotte Hornets

Heading into the start of the season, the Charlotte Hornets were considered by many as one of the most unpredictable teams in the league. And through the first few games of the season, that’s exactly what the Hornets have been. The Hornets have been inconsistent through the first couple of weeks, and find themselves already falling down the standings in the Eastern Conference.

The good news for the Hornets is that Brandon Miller has had some bright moments through the first few games of his career. Even though the Hornets are bringing him along slowly, he’s playing efficient basketball on the offensive end of the floor. Quitely, aside from Victor Wembanyama, there’s an argument to be made that Miller might be playing as the second-best player from this draft class.

Considering how the talk revolved around Miller and Scoot Henderson after the NBA Draft, that’s not what many expected to be the case. The real big concern for the Hornets should be LaMelo Ball’s horrid start to the season.
