Andre Drummond, Chicago Bulls

It may be a bit crazy to believe but Andre Drummond is only 30 years old. I’m not sure if he has “a lot left in the tank,” but there’s no question that he could still play a rotational role for a team like the LA Clippers. Through the first few games of the season, Drummond is averaging six points and five rebounds on 57 percent shooting from the field. It’s clear that he’s no longer in the prime of his career, but he’s still one of the best rebounders in the game.

Drummond may not work at this point in his career as a starting center but he does offer value as a veteran backup, and that’s exactly what the Clippers would be looking for in a short-term replacement for Plumlee.

Drummond is an expiring deal and wouldn’t be that big of an ask. The big question is whether the Bulls would be willing to part ways with Drummond. He’s averaging less than 14 minutes per game and if the Bulls do end up pivoting toward a retooling, Drummond would be on the list of players that could be on the move.
