Tyler Herro has made the All-Star jump
Tyler Herro was one of the biggest stories during the offseason. A big part of it was the whispers surrounding Damian Lillard and him being linked to the Miami Heat. But then it began a debate about Herro and his potential moving forward. While he has his naysayers, Herro had a pretty good start to the season. Even though the Heat hasn’t gotten off to an ideal start, Herro’s production was quite encouraging.
Before his injury, which will likely keep him out of the lineup for several weeks, Herro was averaging 26 points, six rebounds, and five assists per game on 45 percent shooting from the field and 45 percent shooting from 3-point range. He was fueling the team’s offense and was one of the lone bright spots for an otherwise disappointing start to the year for Miami.
The big question is if this Herro start is real. While I do believe that he’s a really good player, I’m not sure he has All-Star sustainability. And the injuries aren’t going to help any.
