The Los Angeles Lakers would be one of the most natural fits for Zach LaVine. The Lakers absolutely need a boost in the backcourt with Austin Reaves, D’Angelo Russell, and Gabe Vincent still leaving much to be desired, and LaVine would be the self-creating offensive scorer that LeBron James and Anthony Davis need at this point in their careers. Let’s also not gloss over the fact that LaVine has said in the past that he would like to play next to LeBron.

LaVine has never played with players as good as LeBron and AD are. It would make his life a whole lot easier and could potentially open up another layer to his game at this phase of his career. LaVine has also never played for a winner with expectations. This is the type of move that could rejuvenate his career.

It remains to be seen if the Lakers could actually meet the Bulls’ asking price. But if Los Angeles is willing to include Reaves in a deal, there’s a good chance there could be some middle ground found between the two sides.
