Over the course of his career, Karl-Anthony Towns has done his part in completely changing the game for bigs in the NBA. In fact, KAT himself believes that he’s the best big man shooter of all time. That’s another debate for another day, but there’s no question that KAT is one of the few big men in history who have little-to-no weaknesses in his offensive game. However, over the past two seasons, KAT has begun to see a downtick in his production.

And that’s left many to wonder what his future is with the team. Despite the Wolves’ hot start to the season, in which they’re 7-2 through the first nine games of the season, KAT has gotten off to one of the worst starts of his career. The hope is that he bounces back as the season goes on, but the concern is pretty evident.

At this point, there’s an argument to be made that KAT may need a fresh start. The Wolves have turned over the team to Anthony Edwards and while that has turned out to work out for Minnesota, that leaves KAT in an awkward situation. At this point, it may be time for a change for KAT.
